We engineer impact where it counts, from the farms that feed to the modern city. Danfoss in Easley, SC has an opening for a 3rd Shift Hone Operator.
The Hone Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines in the Hone Cell.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Set up machine in accordance with setup matrix and best practice.
Able to set and adjust hone tooling to achieve quality parts. Understands the basics of statistical process control and the use of control limits.
Comfortable using precision gage tools and measuring equipment.
Responsible to visually inspecting equipment, complete oil checks, or other inspection methods required to ensure honing equipment is maintained to an acceptable level.
Hone component parts to required clearance standards, using standard methods for gauging, and verifying part conformance to blueprint specification.

High School Education or GED.
Must understand dimensional requirements and the importance of producing parts that meet specification.
Must have basic math skills with the ability to calculate clearance in decimals.
