Job Description
Danfoss is seeking a motivated, reliable, and responsive Inventory Specialist in our Tallahassee, FL location.
Job Responsibilities
Management of Cycle Count process:
- Utilization of the SAP business system to create required count documents following the defined SAP logic and configuration.
- Administrating daily Cycle Counts to ensure that required cycle count schedules are completed according to defined company standards.
Development of Business Processes required to support accurate inventory records and efficient flow of materials throughout the business environment:
- Development and launch of business processes required to facilitate the accurate management and efficient flow of externally procured and internally manufactured products.
Root cause analysis and record compliance on inventory inaccuracy and Inventory flow management:
- Identify and implement containment and permanent corrective actions for events that fail to meet defined control limits.
Reporting:
- Provide detailed statements on inventory adjustments and impacted records as required.
Background & Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
- 3-5 years of related work experience is required
- SAP experience/knowledge
- Mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Self-starting individual (proactive)
- Flexible with the ability to change tasks with little to no notice.
- Process-oriented
- Computer skills that include Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- General Inventory Management knowledge
- Able to learn and understand general warehouse and assembly operations
- APICS Certification in preferred
- Associate’s Degree in business or operational planning is preferred
