Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Manager, Pricing Americas to join us at Danfoss in the US.
As the Pricing Manager, Americas you will be responsible for ensuring best in class pricing practices in the region, enabling operational excellence in customer pricing, providing data quality in customer pricing (customer/product/price), and supporting Americas region in all aspects of pricing.
We'd prefer this candidate be located in Ames, IA, Plymouth, MN or near one of our other Power Solutions facilities and will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and improve pricing policies continuously to ensure profitable growth
- Make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Develop the capabilities of the America’s pricing region
- Understand and use the intricacies of ERP systems to streamline pricing processes to minimize defects and increase velocity of maintenance
- Drive process alignment within the region towards global processes
- Conceptualize, consult with other process owners to develop processes driving improvements in system interactions to reduce defects
- Drive system improvements in SAP, Business Objects, and Salesforce in close cooperation with other departments
- Facilitate and support our journey towards pricing excellence
Background & Skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is a plus
- 5 years of relevant business experience from the B2B industry preferred
- Project Management experience
- Profound knowledge with SAP and Salesforce is a strong plus
- Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Leadership experience
- Energetic and willing to fight for optimum solutions between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests
