We engineer impact where it counts, from the farms that feed to the modern city. We are currently seeking to hire a Team Coordinator for 3rd shift at our Loves Park location.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Provide customers with a quality product
- Ensure on time delivery of product
- Uphold strict compliance with all Danfoss and production floor policies
- Conduct daily shift meetings
- Report status of production orders and daily shipping capabilities and initiate action to ensure targets are met
- Perform Shop floor/SAP/PDC transactions as required
- Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to another
- Maintain orderly, clean, and organized work areas according to 5S standards and cleaning plan
- Responsible for coaching colleagues on applications of standards and to increase skills
- Responsible for training new employees
- Identify weaknesses in production and participate in continuous improvement processes (RCPS, 4-steps, 8D’s as well as kaizen/continuous improvement events)
Background & Skills
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ops Services experience required
- Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions in English
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
