Private Nanny

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide childcare services for our family. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, engaging them in educational and fun activities, and assisting with light household duties.

Duties:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to our 5 and 8 year old.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational activities
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences if needed.
- Assist with basic household tasks such as tidying up after meals and playtime
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, schedules, and specific care needs
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior
- Ensure children's hygiene needs are met, including diaper changes, potty training, and handwashing

Skills:
- Previous experience in childcare or related roles such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to educate and engage children in learning through play
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to commute to the family's residence and to transport children from school and to after school activities.

This is a paid position with competitive compensation based on experience. The schedule will vary based on the family's needs which include weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
