Truck Alignment Technician/ Mobile

Daniels Tire Service is a reputable family owned and operated Tire Company serving Southern California for over 110 years. We’re currently looking to add a Mobile Truck Alignment Technician to our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

· Day to day Alignment and tech work will be performed on various types of commercial and utility vehicles including; medium to large size trucks, buses, and RVs, service trucks etc.

· Work will be performed primarily in Santa Fe Springs, CA but also at other Daniels Tire Service centers and client locations.

· This position will require operating alignment equipment, performing front tandem axle and trailer alignments, installing parts and performing other associated types of mechanical services as required. We utilize RAVAmerica mobile alignment machine – we are willing to train!

· Inspect as assess the condition of suspension system components, identifying wear, damage, or misalignment

· A high level of quality customer service will be required.

· Proper and constant communication with the Service, Sales, and other departments is required

· Work efficiency, reliability; and safe work practices are a must.

· The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in truck alignments, repairs, and maintenance.

· Balancing of wheel assemblies.

· Performing some commercial tire service

Qualifications required:

· Proven experience as a Commercial Truck Alignment Technician or a Tire Technician with a desire to learn the mobile alignment trade.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to details.

· Solid understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.

· Effective communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus.

· Tire technician experience is a plus

· This position is responsible for keeping equipment clean and in good working order.

· Mechanical aptitude skills required.

Physical Requirements:

· Moving up and down stairs in alignment pit regularly

· Ability to work on hands and knees regularly

· Crawl/maneuver under vehicles as needed

· Climbing in and out of vehicles

· Work under extreme heat conditions 92 degrees

· Heavy Lifting

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
