What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director-US Multicore Services position at Danlaw, Inc.?
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to accelerate the growth of Rapita multicore timing analysis solutions. It involves helping our aerospace customers achieve multicore certifications as defined by various A&D certification authorities and helping automotive customers with their multicore timing analysis needs for safety critical ECUs.
Requiring technical excellence and leadership, this senior role will build upon the Rapita multicore technical solution, applying it to customer projects in the USA.
This position reports to Head of Engineering Services
Responsibilities:
- Successful delivery of all multicore projects – taking responsibility for the planning and execution of multicore projects primarily in the USA.
- Work with our global team (USA, UK, EU) to deliver aerospace projects.
- Training and mentoring team members and customers on multicore technologies.
- Support strategic planning of multicore solutions, understanding the needs of the market and how to build technologies to support them.
- Develop subject matter expertise on multicore solutions to become an effective face of the company with customers.
- Pre-sales presentations, understanding complex customer needs for analysis, test and certification, planning and preparation of commercial proposals for customers.
- Presentations at conferences, specialist tradeshows and customer sites.
- Support generation of technical content: technical papers, collateral and sales material.
- Supporting services activity outside of multicore technology throughout the sales cycle and project execution.
- Additional tasks as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Aerospace high complexity electronic product development and related standards
- Understanding of DO-178C standards and CAST32A
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Salary : $140,000 - $177,000
