Job Title:        Forklift Operator

Schedule:       5/2-40hr weeks 

Location:       Raleigh, North Carolina

The Warehouse Equipment Operator is responsible for all aspects of material loading and unloading in the warehouse and lay down yard.  This includes material receiving, shipping, and staging.

Job Duties:

• Work with dry mix concrete to manufacture a good and wear respiratory PPE provided
• Ability to learn and operate industrial 3D printer and perform routine maintenance 
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders 
• Operates 12,000 lb standard forklift, inside stand-up electric forklift and telehandler
• Must perform daily safety checks on above material handling equipment
• Examine incoming shipments.  Report and or reject damaged goods before signing for material
• Perform proper housekeeping daily at warehouse and laydown yard
• Place materials on shelves, racks, or other designated storage areas safely and in an orderly fashion
• Receive material coming to the warehouse and laydown yard accurately and safely
• Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking the material delivered against the packing list and then the purchase order.  Record and report any discrepancies found
• Provide proper customer service 
• Prepare materials for shipment and complete all necessary paperwork to ship materials properly
• Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on annual physical inventory count sheets
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of warehousing and heavy equipment operation experience
• Must be certified to operate all warehouse material handling equipment safely
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision
• Live within 1 hour of Raleigh-Durham airport 
• High School Grad or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
