Summary:Develops detailed job schedules and plans for oil and gas projects. Develop execution work planning package and tracks progress. Must be familiar with cost engineering practices particularly in cost and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Develops detailed job plans that include the following steps, durations, material, and equipment needs and cost estimates: Resource requirements, Sequence of scheduling, Gantt chart, Cost estimate
Coordinate planning resources in accordance with small capital projects cost estimates, schedules
Update plans with any approved change orders and develops new plans that arise
Develop regular reporting cadence to communicate planned vs actual progress
Analyze and recommend resolutions of work problems and execution in solving work problems
Adjust plans with feedback from execution
Perform critical and near critical path analysis
Prepare summary and detail level schedules
Develop full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic-generated baseline schedules for projects
Participate in all project schedule reviews as required at Operations Review Meetings (ORMs) or other sessions
Participate in the development and preparation of proposal presentations, including developing preliminary bar chart schedules and staffing charts
Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staff
Conduct schedule and Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews
Work together with multiple teams to coordinate both schedules and models
Interpret data, compile reports, and deliver presentations when required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering field
Five (5) or more years' experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, estimating and other areas of project controls in an oil and gas environment
Advanced experience with scheduling software applications such as Primavera (P6) on projects required; large project experience highly preferred
Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Positive leadership style and ability to create a high morale
Autonomous, self‐starter
Superior planner and organizer
Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including: background, drug, MVR, etc.
