Job Title: Production Foreman
Schedule: 5/2 Schedule
Location: Big Lake, Texas (Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Big Lake, TX)

The Production Foreman is responsible for the supervision, scheduling and safe execution of effective and economic installation, operation and maintenance of oil and gas production operations. This includes the planning, directing and ensuring the overall performance of production and operational functions for his/her assigned area of responsibility. This position reports to the Superintendent.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the direct management and supervision of company production and well servicing for an assigned area of responsibility, leading team members in Production roles.
- Manage operations to achieve goals for operational excellence, profitability, cost control, quality and productivity.
- Work closely with team members in Engineering, Drilling, Marketing, Completions, Automation and Measurement.
- Work in collaboration with additional functional departments to achieve the company’s goals and initiatives (HR, HSE, etc.).
- Review well production with Foremen and Operators and decide what actions are necessary to maintain smooth operations and maximize production.
- Direct the resolution of production and maintenance problems to ensure efficient spending and operations.
- Ensure new construction aligns with efficient spending and long-term operational excellence.
- Oversees subcontracted services, to include but not limited to: roustabouts, pipeline contractors, well servicing contractors, contract pumpers, and materials suppliers and delivery personnel.
- Models and practices safety according to company standards at all times and is required to attend all safety training. Responsible for recognition and reporting of abnormal and or safety related operating conditions, accident and near miss reporting, performing emergency response procedures, and performing regulatory compliance procedures.
- Performance Review Responsibility for Lease Operators
- Metric and Scorecard building and tracking of key performance indicators for team and individuals
- Maximize production by monitoring well performance, minimizing downtime and addressing issues
- Well Test Scheduling and Compliance
- Downtime reporting and corrective action
- Production vs Budget review and assessment
- Confer with engineering personnel regarding status of projects and field related problems
- Chemical Treatment Program
- Well test scheduling and review
- Responsible for adherence to and execution of proper safety practices; ensures all activities/work group comply with relevant regulatory and company requirements
- Safe Work Practices / Permit System
- Spill Prevention
- Ensure completions operations are scheduled and conducted in such a way to minimize delays, safety issues, technical issues and risks
- Pre Start-up Safety Reviews
- Flowback Operation Management
- Collaborate with management to develop budget estimates
- Daily expense tracking
- Project Bid Compliance
- Budget preparation
- Oversees and ensures HSE initiatives and responsibilities
- Conduct Behavior Based Safety observations
- Train / Mentor on proper JSA preparation and Hazard ID reviews
- Conduct facility and well inspection
- Ensures operational procedures are current and implemented
- Support the training and development of staff and ensure roles are clearly defined and understood
- Lease Operator Training Mentor
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews
- Conduct business with the highest ethical standards; demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of every employee

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required; Technical degree highly preferred
- Minimum five (5) or more years of Lease Operator experience or previous Production Foreman experience
- Broad understanding of oil and gas production operations

- Experience in operational reporting, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and production optimization and completions
