Industrial Cleaner/laborer

We are currently in search of an individual responsible for Clean Up in the Pellet Plant. This job will be responsible ensuring that the plant floor & equipment is clean & free of dust. Have open and clear communication with Shift Foreman on recurring sources of sawdust leaks.

Cleaner - Essential Duties:

· Responsible for general cleaning of the building.

· Able to use and operate the following equipment;

- broom, shovel and mop

- pressure washer

- other cleaning equipment as necessary

· Cleaning and stocking restrooms

· Cleaning and stocking breakrooms

· Assist with cleaning truck trailers as necessary.

· Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.

· Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.

· Inventories cleaning supplies & tools.

Cleaner - Other Duties:

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Supervision Received:

This position takes direction from the Shift Foreman and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Conduct: Represents Dansons Peebles, LLC in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Cleaner - Physical Demands and Environment:

· Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.

· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.

· Must be able to work for long periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.

· Must be able to work flexible hours.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Cleaner Worker - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.

· Show a commitment to teamwork, being results oriented.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills and effective organizational skills.

· Ability to interact with co-workers, contractors and suppliers on a professional level.

Education, Experience and Training:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $12.50 - $15.50 per hour
