Job Posting for Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Dao Emerging Technologies
DAO Group is currently looking for a Part-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our expanding Virginia Beach team. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and scheduling/packing outgoing shipments, using internal systems for job tracking and inventory management, and work closely with the Depot Manager to assist with maintaining efficient Depot operations.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 11am - 5pm, 6 hour shifts, 30 hours per week. (Flexibility Available)
Responsibilities:
Use shipping system to label and ship packages
Use internal system to track incoming and outgoing shipments
Unpack, verify, and record incoming products
Arrange appropriate transportation of products
Conduct physical inventories and assist with keeping storage areas organized
Maintain tidy and organized work environment
Assist customers with shipping inquiries and communicate tracking information
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields preferred
High school degree or equivalent
Ability to handle physical workload with ability to lift up to 75lbs and spend long periods of time standing
Experience and fluency in using Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience using FedEx Shipping system preferred
