SUMMARY: Operate and maintain Hydromat machines necessary to produce quality parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
- Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of machines and inspection boxes.
- Trouble shoot and diagnosis mechanical difficulties.
- Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
- Change tools, drills and perform grinding on tools in machine as needed.
- Enter quality related information into SPC gage talkers hourly along with hand charting other diameters of part.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma plus two or more years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read and interpret measuring equipment such as gages, blueprints, micrometers, calipers.
- Must be self directed and take initiative to learn new skills pertaining to maintenance of machines assigned too.
- Requires a basic understanding of how to use the tools required in the operation and maintenance of the Hydromat.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Mechanically and mathematically inclined.
