Manufacturing Technician

Reporting to the Operations organization, the Manufacturing Technician, position will support the production and service of products. Responsibilities for this role include:
Note: This role is in our Bloomfield, Connecticut office and is not classified as remote.
- Work closely with the production and service team to assemble, test, and ship equipment primarily used in the part marking and cutting tool industries.
- Using hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, crimping tools, cutters, and any other equipment that will assist in the satisfactory performance of duties.
- Efficiently assemble or repair equipment based on instruction, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and sketches
- Support basic service, maintenance & calibration of customer equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Assist engineering as needed
- Cross-training and support other operational areas as needed
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience or practice executing assembly or service of electronic components/systems or capital equipment
- Driven with the ability to work in a team or with minimal supervision
- Preference for a variety of tasks during the workday
- Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
Plus:
- Trade school or certificate in electronics, engineering, manufacturing technology or a related area
- Soldering experience
