Get to Know the Role

Our Operations Manager is the point of contact for staffing, planning, and overseeing the production operations of our manufacturing facility.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate short-term and long-term production goals.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, safe, and cost-effective way.
• Handle production disruptions and productivity problems.
• Plan inventory, purchase materials, and oversee warehouse efficiency.
• Receive production supplies physically and digitally in an inventory management system while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff with assistance from the Production Supervisor.
• Coordinate and schedule staff hours and shifts.
• Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free and GMP compliant.
• Communicate with upper management regarding problems or issues that impact production.
• Evaluate ingredient and labor costs to maintain an approved budget.
• Improve, create, and implement food safety plans including HACCP and traceability systems.
• Upkeep facilities maintenance schedule and delegate tasks to ensure the general upkeep of the building.

Skills

• A high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Management experience required.
• Quickbooks invoicing knowledge is a plus.
• Katana Manufacturing Software knowledge is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while keeping daily processes in order.
• Strong time management skills.
• The ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
• Team player with ability to contribute in a team atmosphere.

Workday Hours

Monday - Friday

8:30am - 5:00pm
