Job Summary:

The Skipper Driver completes an assigned list of duties and services that Darling Ingredients offers in an allotted scheduled time slot, operating a collection truck that collects raw materials or provides a service to our customers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping all required logs and paperwork as needed, both paper and electronic
• Responsible for correctly operating any commercial motor vehicle safely obeying all traffic laws and DOT regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Due to DOT regulations and nature of the work, candidates need to be at least 21 years
• We require candidates to have a CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement and no E restriction due to the type of work and DOT requirements.
• Per DOT requirements, candidates need to also be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Preferred Qualifications

• Due to the nature of working on a route, having prior route experience within a customer-oriented environment would be preferred.
