1st shift Grease Operator
Job Posting for 1st shift Grease Operator at Darling International Inc.
Job Summary
The Grease Operator controls storage and processing of grease and used oil. Performs test, maintenance, etc. to insure proper operation of all grease related equipment. Other duties as assign by Plant Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Proper operation of polishers and other purification equipment.
- Proper documentation of lot storage
- Testing produced grease for impurities and other defects.
- Record production yields
- Loading rail cars and tankers with finished product.
- Maintaining current inventory levels. .
- Help maintenance with projects or work in area of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter and stay busy with constructive work with little supervision.
- Good with math.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Good penmanship.
Physical Demands
- Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, pulling, pushing and crawling.
Work Environment
Outside in all types of weather. Hot and humid in plant. In and around and working with moving parts and equipment.
