Position Purpose
The Client Technology Consultant – Event Support I is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and operation of audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) resources during various events. This role provides operational support and planning to enhance event experiences through technology. By partnering closely with event organizers, this position ensures that technology needs are met and aligned with the goals of the event, fostering a productive and engaging environment for all participants.

Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in AV or IT support, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot AV and IT equipment in live event settings.
- Availability to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the physical capability to lift, bend, and twist frequently.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a track record of anticipating and addressing client needs in real-time.
- Experienced in managing client inquiries and providing solutions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an academic environment is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in operating AV equipment for live events preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills to effectively communicate with a diverse range of event participants, from attendees to high-level executives and event organizers.
