Overview

Day shift. 

$5,000 sign on bonus.

Maintains and replenishes inventory par carts located in multiple clinic sites. Performs various functions including shipping/receiving, stocking linen and mail room.

Responsibilities

  • Replenishes inventory par cart locations at multiple clinical facilities.
  • Works with Inventory & Par Specialist to review each inventory par cart usage annually to determine appropriate par levels. Adjusts item based on usage report and dialog with department lead.
  • Reviews requester order history to identify items with high ordering frequency that should be moved into the inventory program.
  • Identifies all products on carts with date codes and performs date code checks according to pre-determined schedule.
  • Works with Inventory & Par Specialist to build new carts in PeopleSoft – sends requests to MMIS to board ship to locations so orders can be processed through EDI.
  • Reviews inventory cart change form submissions with department lead and makes agreed upon change.
  • Reviews distributors open order report and Non-Stock Problems reports with Purchasing who will address and resolve the issues with vendor and/or accounts payable.
  • Receives all materials at the loading dock and enters them in PeopleSoft. Distributes the package receipts to the appropriate department.
  • Processes any returns via FedEx or UPS as well as in PeopleSoft.
  • Supports the functions in the mail room to include posting and sorting the mail into the appropriate bins. Maintains necessary supplies on hand.
  • Stock departments with linen based on appropriate par levels. Place replenishment orders with supplier twice a week.
  • Employee will be responsible for accurate handling, distribution and inventory control of certain pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

    • Qualifications

    • High school graduate or the equivalent required.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail required.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously required.
    • Ability to lift weights up to 30 lbs. and push carts weighing in excess of 100 lbs. in accordance with D-H safety and ergonomic guidelines.

    Required Licensure/Certifications

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H’s Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.
