Seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner specializing in managing release processes and optimizing release velocity through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software releases. Your expertise in agile methodologies and release management will be crucial in driving the success of our product delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the end-to-end release process, coordinating release schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of software updates.
Implement and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline the release cycle and improve release velocity.
Work closely with development, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features and resolve issues affecting release timelines.
Develop and maintain the release roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
Ensure the quality of releases by defining and monitoring release metrics, conducting post-release reviews, and implementing improvements.
Identify potential risks and dependencies that could impact release timelines and work proactively to mitigate them.
Maintain release documentation, including release notes, version control, and deployment procedures.
Establish a feedback loop with stakeholders to gather insights and incorporate feedback into future releases.
Act as a leader within the agile team, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Requirements
5 years as a Product Owner environment, with a focus on release management and CI/CD.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving common goals and objectives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
