Project Managers

Dasher Lawless is a California and Ohio based design/build development company. We are a leader in commercial, mixed-use, and residential development, as well as the industry leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of cutting-edge AUTOParkit™ fully automated parking technology.

Our Warren Ohio office is seeking Project Managers with experience in the management of commercial construction projects and/or heavy industrial automated material handling equipment. Individual must be both self-directed and able to function in a lean agile team environment. A high level of interaction with customers, project architects and designers, and control and software engineering partners is required. The successful candidate will be project and team oriented and capable of overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple automated parking projects from conception to end.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

· Min. 4 years project management experience

· Organized individual with strong time management, and oral and written communication skills

· Highly motivated with a desire to grow skills and responsibilities in a very fast-moving organization

· Detail oriented, but a system thinker

· Ability to independently manage multiple projects.

· Capable of reading and understanding construction and fabrications drawings and documents

· Proficiency with the following software applications:

Microsoft Office Suite

Bluebeam Revu

CAD or BIM experience helpful

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Project Planning

• Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
• Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

· Project Staffing

• Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization
• Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project
• Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate

· Project Implementation and control

• Execute the project according to the project plan
• Develop forms and records to document project activities
• Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff on the progress of the project
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
• Document conferences and meetings
• Monitor all budgeted project expenditures
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

Pay: $51,254.09 - $127,959.02 per year
