What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Warehouse Attendant position at Dassault Falcon Jet?
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, and the direction of the Operations Manager, incumbent is responsible for leading, training and performing stockroom and warehouse functions. Preparing, maintaining and processing required documentation and reports; completing and processing automated system transactions; insuring the integrity and timeliness of assigned work of incumbent and the Warehouse team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Leads, directs and trains other stock persons as assigned.
Assures all orders are processed in timely manner to meet customer demands for shipments of parts.
Interfaces with internal departments, customers, etc. in professional manner as required to perform assigned tasks.
Prepares, verifies and processes all incoming and outgoing materials and documentation utilizing on-line data processing system and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Performs receiving, warehouse, stockroom or shipping duties, processing automated transactions by use of data processing equipment and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Reports, documents and controls discrepancies and damaged materials received and reports to supervisor for corrective action in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Assures the security and protection of the materials and equipment maintained on Company premises.
Performs general tasks as required, which includes, but not limited to, unloading trucks, operating forklifts, placing and storing parts, general housekeeping, operating various equipment such as scales, etc.
Maintains a neat, clean, safe and orderly work area within department and company standards.
Performs duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety standards and procedures, notifying supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous equipment or work areas.
Responds to after-hours support request, as assigned, preparing documentation and completing data processing transactions as described by company policies and procedures.
Prepares orders for Export shipments, picks parts, checks for and includes AWD, updates orders in preparation of shipment to customer by Export Department.
Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis.
