As a Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Cloud Servcies, you join our team responsible for the cloud service 3D Media Rendering located in Munich. The service is one of the corner stones in the 3DEXCITE infrastructure, providing content generation capabilities, like high-quality visualization and media publishing on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:* Work as a developer in an agile team, in close collaboration with other teams
* Maintain, improve and extend our Java components to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements
* Provide reliable estimates to support planning and tracking of releases
* Bring your Java and service development expertise into the team: Guide C -focused developers in the team, by defining and ensuring best practices.
* Actively drive the transformation of the service to a more modern architecture
* Monitor and maintain service operation on test- and production environments
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5 years of professional working experience as Java developer
* Experience with developing small to medium sized distributed software systems
* Competency with Linux, Data Modeling, SQL Databases
* Knowhow and hands-on experience with modern service architecture
* Extra: C , Bash, Python
