To continue to meet our customers mission critical needs, DDC is seeking an Operations Manager to join our respected and valued team.
This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, Long Island, New York Headquarters.
The salary for this position is $60,000.00 to $90,000
The Operations Manager oversees all manufacturing functions and looks for ways to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Drives Magnetics BU Operations Team to meet or exceed Customer expectations in the form of On-Time-Delivery (OTD) and Quality ratings.
- Responsible for revenue goals (month/quarter/year)

- Plans and schedules manufacturing to meet shipping goals
- Review backlog to identify potential pull in opportunities
- Coordinate, book, ship, build plan based on forecast and historical with BUM
- Identifies, controls and documents all manufacturing processes, which affect quality ensuring that these processes are carried out under corporate policies.
- Quotes lead-time to sales departments.
- Handles all external expedites to sales departments.
- Supports inside Sales team with customers requests, deadlines, operational risks
- Oversees manufacturing equipment and places requisitions for replacement parts and /or additional equipment.
- Facilitates and support direct reports in team activity to identify and implement opportunities for new system / process development.
- Develop and/or approve performance appraisals for department staff; Outlining and reviewing improvement and growth plans, and highlighting strengths / deficiencies in the overall workmanship.
- Hires, train, supervisors and evaluate performance of staff.
- Travels to Mexico for business support
- Identifies and execute Capex and Productivity projects
- Works with procurement on maintaining inventory levels and expediting material when required
- Works with Engineering department on new designs (prototypes, transition to production)
- Reviews and signs ECNs (Engineering Control Notice)
- Managers and coordinates stockroom activities
- Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with the Company policy and governmental regulations.

Qualifications:
- 10 years relevant work experience required
- Bachelors Degree required
- Masters degree preferred
- Ability to work with a team and receive or communicate directions effectively.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
