SUMMARY
Operates all bindery equipment. Completes set-ups and minor repairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes set-up and operations of all bindery equipment, including but not limited to, cutters, folders, die cutters, etc.
- Follows directives of the group leader or supervisor.
- Reports all issues to the group leader or supervisor.
- Communicate, as needed, maintenance, supply and safety issues to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with company rules, regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve quality and operating efficiency of the department.
- Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.
- Perform other related duties, as required, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Trade school, high school or GED preferred plus 1-2 years of experience on offset presses or equivalent.
