Data Processor

Job Title:  Data Processor Summary:  This position is responsible for providing processing support for projects including, but not limited to, receiving, scanning, data and comment verify, and/or validating, comment coding and sanitizing, quality control of data, and assisting in the overall operation of the department.   Essential Position Responsibilities: Check in surveys, review, screen for hot, prepare them for scanning. Create specification and procedural documents for various survey projects Scan documents, enter data and comments into data capture software, create and review data files, run utilities and other queries, perform research and quality control, run validations to ensure accurate data.  Coding and screening of customer comments or written responses Comment sanitizing and spell checking Help to train and monitor the work and daily activities of independent contractors. Attend project/team meetings as requested. Perform all other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: Associates degree or 2 years of experience in an operations environment, working closely with dataStrong working knowledge and experience in MS Word and Excel required Strong verbal, reading and writing skills; proofreading is a plus Strong data verification and/or quality review of data is a plus    Preferred Qualifications: ·       Experience processing data and comments ·       Experience coding or cleansing data and comments ·       Experience with image scanners and data verification software       Essential Job Requirements: Be dependable and a team player who is flexible with changing tasks and deadlines Be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy Ability to consistently perform well in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads   Be professional, reliable, proactive, organized, nd positive Work well independently and self-motivated Work well in a team environment Be able to multi-task and be flexible when tasks change often Other operations duties as needed   Physical Requirements: This job requires frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching,  reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting and grasping, the ability to hear clearly at conversation levels, the ability to lift objects of 50 pounds or more routinely and have clear close, peripheral and distance vision.
