Training Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Training Project Manager will support the Instructional Design team in the development of client solutions (such as understanding course catalogue, timeline requirements, logistics, and delivery concerns), scheduling and advocating for SME interviews, assessment of client readiness and training needs, and tracking both pre- and post-delivery timelines and training outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives on detail-oriented work and doesn’t just follow systems in place but creates their own to solve the unique needs of the client.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the business development team to identify deliverable timelines and coordinate team efforts, aligning the needs of the client to the schedules and offerings of the ID and Data Science experts on the team.
• Support and collaborate with the team to meet workflow and content creation timetables and deliverables.
• Organize, plan, and support development and delivery of synchronous and asynchronous training events for companies and government clients as they build world-class training and coursework in the data science industry.
• Serve as a liaison between instructors and the content creation team for all stages of design with rigorous application of the ADDIE methodology.
• Schedule Instructors from a deep roster of talent, while finding the perfect match between skills and client domain.
• Maintain continuous course developments, updates, and deliveries across a portfolio of courses within a variety of data science disciplines in both VILT and asynchronous LMS format. 
• Aid the ID team in crafting and editing presentations, job aids, and deliverables.

Skills you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in project management, business operations, instructional design, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years in a project management or operations support role
• Experience in a learning or teaching environment preferred
• Excellent time management and project organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with all Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Drive and willingness to learn about Data Science, and a passion for making that learning accessible 
• An understanding of instructional design theories, practice, and methods, or the ability to learn them rapidly
