This position will function as a highly skilled CGA with specific responsibilities that include:
- Developing and supporting of GIS based mobile data collection applications
- Providing direct support for enterprise GIS implementation
- Lead efforts support of various GIS software and hardware systems.
- Leads team to develop various GIS and BI tools to support ODOT s Transportation Asset Management Program.
- Perform software testing and routine maintenance.
- Create dashboards and/or reports utilizing analytic BI and geospatial tools
- Assist with phone and online problem reporting and maintaining problem report records.
- Develop workflows for asset inventory/inspection applications
- Monitor system status and data integrity
- Create customized geoprocessing scripts and reports that utilize computer programming language (i.e., SQL, Python, DAX)
- Develop data models and Technical Requirements Specifications documents to support application development
- Technical writing skills to create/update manuals and guides based off business needs
- Communicate status to managers and project sponsors.

- Ability to translate business needs to ODOT s GIS systems
Required Skills:
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
5 years of ArcGIS for Desktop experience
3 years editing and maintaining data in a GIS environment
1 year of Python (or similar scripting) experience (ArcPy knowledge a plus)
1 year of Microsoft Power BI experience
Desired Skills:
Linear Referencing Systems knowledge
