Job Title: Aircraft Technician (Mechanic Aerospace)
Location: Wichita, KS

Job Description:
We can also look for a technical writer, Technical authors, flight test technicians, flight test mechanics, and A&P Mechanic/A&p technicians and they should have aerospace background also pls check with them for tech writing or manual writing or flight operations manual writing experience
Maintenance Manual Author:

• Create and revise maintenance documents (maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, non-destructive testing manuals, tool & equipment manuals, and component maintenance manuals) using engineering database information, engineering drawings, functional tests, and other sources to provide customers with detailed aircraft continued airworthiness instructions. Submit work packages to create illustrations that will accompany maintenance document instructions for use in technical publications.
• Conduct self and peer quality checks of completed work packages for accuracy and consistency.
• Follow established procedures and improve procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with core teams, engineers, and customer service representatives to validate maintenance document procedures.
• Degreed in an aviation-related area preferred or equivalent experience authoring technical documents.
• A&P license or military aviation maintenance experience with Technical Orders a plus.
• Requires an understanding of engineering data, with an ability to research and analyze engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience and knowledge of aircraft operation, aircraft systems, aircraft maintenance practices, manufacturing, and GAMA/ATA guidelines.
• Experience using SGML/XML, Arbortext, Adobe FrameMaker, or equivalent tool in an authoring environment.
• Professional and diplomatic demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flight Document Author

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise flight documents (Airplane Flight Manual, Pilot’s Abbreviated Checklists, Operating Manuals, Pilot’s Operating Handbooks, Technical Orders, etc.) using engineering flight test information.

• Follow established procedures and improve procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with core teams, engineers, and customer service representatives to validate flight document procedures.

Education:

• Degreed in an aviation-related area preferred or equivalent experience authoring technical documents.
• Pilot’s license, A&P license, or military aviation experience with Technical Orders is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
