ResearchUSA is a creator and provider of databases of US businesses, Consumers, Emails, and life event databases. Our databases are used for marketing, research, and integration with their technology platforms and value added products.
We are looking for a software developer to join our team of professionals. The position involves the development of software for manipulating large files of data, as well as web-based tools to collect or manipulate data.
Job Description:
Translate business requirements into refined front-end code, providing a user friendly interface
Develop processes for manipulation of big data files
Perform coding changes or develop new systematic processes based on technical specifications
Document requirements and designs
Troubleshoot and debug software and/or data errors
Write test scripts for validation of data, software, or procedure changes
What you need to apply:
B.S. in computer science, related field or equivalent work experience required
0 to 3 years of programming experience in the following areas:
Java
SQL or similar
Ability to design, flowchart, code, test and debug software.
Ability to learn new skills, development tools or platforms.
Ability and willingness to document requirements and design.
Experience in handling multiple projects and with specific deadline requirements.
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
Ability to communicate concisely with clarity.
Experience working with and manipulating large amounts of data or multiple databases is a plus.
Experience working with ETL tools preferred but not required.
