What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Procurement Strategy & Operations position at Databricks?

You will have oversight of all Procurement systems, end-to-end Procure to Pay processes, and the daily operations. As Databricks scales rapidly, the focus for this role to promote automation with systems, efficiencies in existing process, and enhanced company-wide reporting to deliver tangible value to the business. You will report to the Sr. Director of Procurement.
The impact you will have:
- Partnering and working with Sourcing, IT, Financial Systems, Accounting, Legal, Security, and other business partners, you will make recommendations to help Databricks Procurement scale to support the massive growth in the organization.
- Lead transformational activities to build Procurement capabilities and improve efficiency, including process automation and RPA
- Manage overall administration of software and tools used by Procurement (Coupa, Zip Intake to Procure, TripActions, Netsuite, and/or Tableau)
- Develop Supplier Diversity and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs
- Implement reporting for Procurement team, internal business partners, and Leadership
- Manage all Procurement Operations, including the evaluation and implementation of shared services and outsourcing for operational activities
- Lead for all mergers and acquisitions to ensure suppliers are all contracts and suppliers of acquired companies are integrated into Databricks Procurement processes
What we look for:
- 5 years experience in a Procurement or Strategic Sourcing role with knowledge of full end-to-end Procure to Pay process
- Experience managing global procurement operations
- Leader with ability to drive change across the organization to achieve efficiencies in processes and systems
- Process and customer service inspired.
- Experience with systems such as Coupa, Netsuite, Zip Intake to Procure, and TripActions
