To support our business, we are looking for a looking for a Production & Logistics Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Datacolor Production & Logistics Technician, you will spend your time:
- Supporting the company’s Quality System, policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and good manufacturing practices.
- Performing all work with a safe mindset by using all required safety equipment.
- Performing standard work via hand assembly, semi or automated assembly, or soldering while complying with all relevant work instructions and operating procedures as trained by engineering.
- Integrating computer systems and Datacolor produced hardware & software to fulfill POS sales orders.
- Reading customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Transferring materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Performing receiving of raw materials on the dock along with marking the materials with identifying information.
- Weighing or counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to order requirements
- Communication with procurement department to reconcile discrepancies in counts or items received.
- Using computer to enter records.
- Preparing parcels for mailing.
- Maintaining inventory records both paper and electronic.
- Preparing shipping documentation, processing pick/pack/label functions along with shipment of the product.
- Performing cycle counts and/or physical inventory.
- Ordering warehouse, production, and packing supplies.
- Packaging of spare parts as required for shipment to customer or Suzhou facility or other Datacolor locations.
- Contribute and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Maintains exceptional housekeeping standards at all times in the work areas.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma with 2 years relevant experience, and/or demonstrated capability through equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with raw materials.
- Experience with packing, assembly, scanning, and machine operations a must.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures for storage, shipment, and receipt.
- Approach that is detailed oriented, focused, and methodical.
- Ability to understand and adhere to processes.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- “Can do” attitude and willingness to take on assigned responsibilities.

This role is based out of our Georgia or Texas.
