As an IT Director, you will provide leadership and guidance directly overseeing all Information Technology (IT) functions including business applications, network and telecom infrastructure, end user computing, security and cloud operations and operational services like helpdesk.
Responsible for the technological operations and implementation of new IT systems and policies, including the deployment and operations of all internal and external systems. Strong technical background and knowledge in IT and business operations systems in addition to managing and motiving staff. Ensure systems and staff are effective and functioning within budgeted limits, time and specifications based on requirements. As an IT Director, you will be responsible for service delivery of business applications & infrastructure operations across distributed enterprise with the highest levels of performance and availability.
Responsibilities -
- Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals (e.g. On Prem and Cloud infrastructure, end user computing, CRM business applications, IT security operations and services, etc)
- Responsible for operations across primary locations and satellite offices maintaining performance and uptime commitments
- Support cloud-first hybrid environment, consisting of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and on-premises components
- Develop and review budget for IT department and ensure it complies with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives
- Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Oversee IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and evaluations.
Education / Experience -
- Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems
- 15 years of related experience with at least 7 years of Leadership & management experience
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proven experience in service planning, delivery, operations, project and people management
- Proven experience in design, development and deploying Salesforce CRM eco-system. Ability to work with global sales and sales operations teams for seamless technology management of business process
- Detailed understanding of HRMS, concur and other third-party system integrations with identity management systems such as Azure AD, multifactor authentications, etc
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development on end user computing, On-Prem and cloud Infrastructure particularly Microsoft Azure eco-system. E.g Azure AD, M365, Azure Security, Azure Compliance, etc. Detailed understanding of Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange, Azure & AWS Cloud Management is a must
- Proven experience of setting and running of delivery organisation for SOC, NOC, global call centre, global helpdesk and compliance management
- Prior experience of deploying initiatives such as NIST and CIS including ability to deploy software -hardware asset management, procurement management, CMDB creation, data loss prevention and data privacy initiates, etc
- Prior experience of working in product company with detailed understanding of product development, DevOps, release process, product license management, etc
- Detailed understanding of relation between product management, product development, QA, sales, business operations, vendors, product sales disti-partners, etc. and IT
- Ability to work under pressure with global business leaders (E.g., Sales and Sales operations Vice President, product heads, site operations heads, Finance heads, etc)
- Good understanding and technical knowledge of latest networking, storage, operating systems, security trends and standards including Cloud and other end user computing
- Proven experience in planning, testing and managing business continuity processes including disaster recovery management, security incident management, Ransomware prevention and management, etc
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently, while meeting internal schedules and deadlines
- Must be able to plan, track, supervise the work of self and others spread across multiple geographies
- Should have strategic business vision and ability to set and track KPIs for self and team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and technology and people change management skills
- Experience in designing, controlling information technology budgets
- Industry certifications such as Azure and AWS Certified Architect, MCSA/C/P, Cisco CCNA/NP, MS SQL Database, Dev-ops and CISSP/CISM, Data Privacy Architect, Apple certified IT professional, PMP/PRINCE II, SCRUM MASTER, SAFE AGILE Certified, etc. are preferred.
