Job Description
DataStaff, Inc is in need of an EHR Program Director for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC.
*This role is remote
Responsibilities:
- Guides the EHR Program team through planning and is the central point of communication, maintaining a common vision, plan, and goal across all areas of the program.
- Lead the implementation of an enterprise electronic health record platform for all facilities overseen by the Healthcare Facilities.
- Work with senior-level business executives, IT personnel, and business program resources to execute project requirements and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Work with the team and the selected vendor to complete implementation of the system.
- Manage the day-to-day activities for the project.
- Authoring all project management artifacts following the practices and guidelines from the PMI’s PMBOK
- Developing the detailed project budget and monitoring expenditures
- Developing and maintaining all required State project documentation
- Serving as an IT management liaison to the business client
- Leading and performing hands-on analysis of the business and technical environments
- Supervising implementation activities
- Ensuring that project plans and schedules are established and maintained
- Ensuring that deliverables are completed timely and accurately
- Supervising staff (State and contractual staff)
- Conducting formal presentations
- Coordinating with all project stakeholders and ensure that appropriate project controls are instituted
Knowledge and Skills:
- Be a results-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic
- Able to demonstrate excellent IT Project Management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills:
- 7 Years - Project Management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts
- 7 Years - Experience managing projects implementing large multi-client n-tier client/server systems
- 7 Years - Proven track record of delivering IT projects within budget, scope and schedule.
- 7 Years - Solid work experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- 7 Years - Demonstrated technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and experience with multiple hardware platforms and operating systems
- 5 Years - Demonstrated presentation and training skills.
- 5 Years - Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- 5 Years - Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability.
- 1 Year - Hands on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
- 1 Year - Experience managing implementation projects that used Java, XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS
Desired Skills:
- 1 Year - PMI certification Project Management Professional (PMP)
