About the Role

Dava is looking for a Social Media Strategic Director to join the team & assist with our internal social media accounts. The ideal candidate has worked in fast-paced, constantly changing environments and adapts well in ambiguous circumstances. We are looking for someone who really understands social media & wants to grow with us. You must have management experience as you will be leading a team that will grow to around 10.

Responsibilities

• Join our media team to run our social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube)
• No editing required (but having experience is a deal breaker): We have in house designers & video editor on our media team who will edit all the content
• Create content plans & strategies for our content team
• Organize your teams schedule & ensure everybody is doing their job
• Organize photoshoots/video shoots with our film/photo team
• Manage content calendars & direct our editors to build desired content
• Desire to grow & willingness to learn
• And other similar responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must have social media management experience
• Must use social media platforms on a daily basis
• Must know what is trending & who is relevant as time passes
• Must understand the concept of scheduling & strategy/ideation
• Must take constructive feedback positively & work in a team environment
• Emotional Intelligence
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication (written and oral) skills
• Must be able to work in ambiguity
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Understands big picture strategy, able to have high level conversations and also execute on day to day tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
