LEAD MASON- CHIMNEY

Dave's Chimney Service, LLC. in Methuen, MA is calling all hard-working, experienced masons to apply to join our amazing team as a full-time Lead Mason/Chimney! You must be able to lay 150 to 200 bricks per day to qualify for this position. Masonry ground work experience does not qualify.

YOUR LIFE AS A LEAD MASON/CHIMNEY

As a Lead Mason/Chimney, you enjoy working outside of an office and have no problem utilizing ladders, scaffolding, and working on roofs. Much of your time is spent working with bricks, blocks, stones, mortar, cement, and other products as you complete tasks from start to finish. Whether you are completing tuck-pointing or rebuilding chimneys, you are confident in your skills. Your detail-oriented personality comes in handy as you play an active role in every stage of the project. From stocking vans and setting up mixer stations to mixing mortar, laying brick, replacing lead flashing, or replacing roof shingles, you make sure that all details are checked, and rechecked, to ensure quality and accuracy. And, occasionally, you help supervise and train apprentices on how to perform their job duties.. When jobs are finished, you are sure to leave the site clean of any debris, and you take all waste to the dump. Finally, you close out each job by utilizing the iFleet app on an iPad to effectively document project completion. Ultimately, we rely on you to keep our projects running smoothly from start to finish!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Must be able to lay 150-200 bricks per day to be considered for this position
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience as a mason is preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willing and able to work in all-weather types and from high places

Although 2 to 4 years of experience is preferred, we will consider someone with less than 2 years if it's the right candidate! If you can meet these requirements and perform this lead mason/chimney job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
