Our firm has an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Personal Injury Case Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of cases while providing support to our clients. You should have a passion for helping others and a dedication to providing the highest level of customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Must know how to work with and manage a diverse group and how to pivot.
  • Must know medical management and how it ties into case management.
  • Familiar with case and claim values.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the case management process.
  • Utilize case management software to track and document case progress.
  • Gathering medical reports.
  • Determining the extent of damage covered by the insurance policy, along with other basic litigation duties.
  • Handling all types of pre-litigation cases including auto, dog bites, slip and fall, premise, pedestrian, and government claims.
  • Opening claims, sending representation letters, setting clients up with medical providers, managing appointments, running policy limits, requesting police reports, sending D.M.V. documents, requesting medical records, bills, and confirming medical balances.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of responding quickly to the needs of the clients.
  • Coordinate and monitor services provided by various agencies and organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in personal injury is a MUST.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (REQUIRED)
  • Must be organized excellent at multi-tasking.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate medical records and complex medical information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving to determine the best course for each client.
  • Ability to manage a high caliber caseload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience assisting doctors and patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using case management software and Microsoft Office.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience with Personal Injury Case Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32 - $38 per hour compensative bonus
