Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level project support employee to help with various tasks:
- Issuing purchase orders for project materials.
- Facilitating the material submittal process throughout a project.
- Working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and submittals.
- Obtaining/reviewing quotes from vendors for materials as needed.
- Managing materials and submittals for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Keeping records of all pertinent project information including, but not limited to, Financial Tracking, project schedules, backlog planning, and project tracking.
- Assist operations with billing summaries and payment applications.
- Working with vendors to certify accuracy of invoices as required by project.
- Working closely with operations to help track project deadlines and budget.
- Issuing RFI's and Change Orders as needed. (Identifying where change orders may be necessary.)
- Answering calls and emails from field personnel to provide PO's, take material orders, provide material status, and help troubleshoot issues.
- Some local travel required.
Qualifications
- Aptitude and Appetite to excel as a long-term member of our team.
- Effective communication skills via phone and email.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Desire to grow and learn new skills and technologies.
- Office 365 and SharePoint Online experience preferred but not required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
