Position Summary: Ensures information provided to the finance department and employees is accurate and timely. Collaborates with all finance departments to develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate processing and reporting of finance data. Assists in coordination of enhancements/special projects as related to finance. Analyze patient/insurance information to ensure correct refunds, denials, and credits
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in Finance or related field Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience in payroll and financial applications Skills: Administrative: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access Power Point Filing Office procedures Word processing Skills: Machine: Personal computer Calculator Typewriter Fax machine Skills: Other Excellent communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work independently Knowledge of payroll and financial principles, regulations, and procedures Skill in analyzing technical payroll activities Ability to create and audit detailed reports
