Job Posting for EXERCISE SPECIALIST at Davis Health System

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science. Minimum Experience: Experience with cardiac rehabilitation Required License/Registration/ Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment. Certification: Certified Exercise Physiologist by The American College of Sports Medicine or its equivalent within 1 year of employment. Position Summary: An exercise specialist works in collaboration with the Davis Medical Cardiac and Pulmonary rehabilitation Services and carries out specialized strength and conditioning programs for cardiac and pulmonary patients. Also, provides education and teaches patients on the proper exercise techniques.
