What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wirer position at Davis Standard?
Responsibilities include:
- build and wire electrical control panels using point to point wiring.
- perform machine wiring per machine drawings and/or electrical schematics.
- perform mechanical work such as attaching enclosures to machines, punching holes to cabinets, drilling and tapping holes in machine conveyors.
Qualifications:
- skilled in reading schematic drawings to assemble wiring, switches, cables, and other mechanical or electrical pieces.
- problem-solving solutions as it relates to the assembly process and the functioning of the panels and components.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- proficient in MS Office.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
