Social Media Specialist

Due to continued growth, we are excited to add a Social Media Specialist to our Marketing team, based in Rochester, NY. As the Social Media Specialist, you will strengthen brand awareness across Davis-Ulmer Fire Protection and our Family of Companies by building and implementing a cohesive strategy and across all brands.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, schedule, and manage social media platforms for corporate brand and operating companies
• Set up new social media platforms as needed
• Coordinate and develop creative campaigns; provide and analyze reports and analytics at the conclusion, making recommendations for changing trends
• Design social media imagery and ads
• Manage direct messages and comments across social media platforms
• Create and implement strategy for branch posts & corporate posts
• Implement video & images

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent Writing skills - social media writing skills, blog, creative writing
• Creative background (photoshop/InDesign/illustrator)

• Utilize software program for scheduling and analytics
• Mac user
• Strong time-management and project management skills
• Use of project management software
• Agency Experience a plus
• 5-10 years as social media content manager

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license

Starting pay: $26-$28 per hour
