Salary: $19.33 to $20.46 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Description: As a Davison County Assessor, you will play a vital role in accurately assessing property values and determining tax assessments within our vibrant community. Responsibilities:

• Conduct property assessments using advanced data collection and analysis techniques.
• Evaluate and appraise properties, considering factors such as location, size, construction, and market conditions.
• Research property records, sales data, and other relevant information to ensure accurate valuations.
• Collaborate with property owners and stakeholders to address inquiries, concerns, and appeals.
• Stay up to date with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to property assessments and taxation.
• Use cutting-edge software and technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of assessment processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property assessment or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with property owners and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer software and databases.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
