About the Job
The DSR (Distribution Service Rep) primary function is to support internal and external customers within Operations. This role will also ensure Operational Excellence through extended knowledge, responsibility and communicating effectively to the appropriate functional teams. Collaborates with local leadership and may support more than one location.
What Does It Take to be a Distribution Service Rep at Dawn Foods?
A highly organized individual who is a self-motivating, team player who will excel at getting the job done with little to no supervision. Contributes to the overall success of the company while producing at a high level of excellence.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Detail oriented and have the ability to work independently and proceed with objectives
- High-School Diploma
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to multitask
- Maintain confidentiality
- Basic understanding of financial principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP experience
- Associates Degree in business or related field
- 3-5 years in an AdministrativeRole
- Distribution and/or Supply Chainexperience
What You'll Do as a Distribution Service Rep
- Partner with local leadership on verification of daily Driver packets
- Daily completion of deposit transactions along with following document retention process
- Process all inbound receiving paperwork
- Assist with Certificates of Analysis' (COAs) for customers
- Maintain and process customer credits while collaborating with Inventory Control
- Partner with local operations team at the Will Call window, along with closing and reconciling the will call log at the end of each day.
- Review/Prepare/Follow up with the People Partners with I9 documentation and verification of employment on Law Logix when new hires start.
- Monitor and maintain necessary Over Shorts and Damage (OSD) logs for compliance and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with receiving on billing and mailing invoices for third party direct deliveries
- Complete daily UPS shipments, courier deliveries and customer delivery appointments in collaboration with Transportation
- Assist with Year End Inventory/Audits including but not limited to providing documentation and data entry
- Manage local Accounts Payable transactions
- Provide support to Distribution Market Leader (DML) with monthly accounting accruals
- Support the Warehouse and Transportation departments with route packets for next day's deliveries, Warehouse with Scheduling and Receiving Calendar/Maintenance, and Transportation with Green mile and RoadNet maintenance.
- All other duties as assigned to support our internal and external customers
