What the position offers:
- Simple IRA
- 2 weeks vacation/sick time after 6 months
- Potential for bonuses that are on average 10% of salary (Quarterly)
- Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm (1 hr. lunch), and optional WFH Wednesdays
- 30-40% phone (mostly inbound calls), 50-60% email, and 0-10% occasional walk-ins
- Client-facing dealing heavily in customer service and claims issues
- Generates new accounts (Minimum 15 N/B per month, 6 green policies). Premium goal for the month total is $10,000 with $6,000 in green
- Identify and generate cross-sell/up-sell opportunities
- Spread the policies out to selected carriers
- Complete all post-sale processes
- Complete a minimum of 5 uprate/reviews per week
- Secure 1 Google review per month to support the agency's online presence
- Load prospects into Hawksoft – Updating sales pipeline using sub-statuses
- Ensure that customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information
- Understand the company’s insurance policies and products and be able to tell whether a policy covers a type of loss or not
- Knowledge of carrier appetites and specialty programs
- Knowledge of carriers' and brokers specialties
- Manages at risk’ clients and retention department
- Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies
- Suggest coverage enhancements
- Complete quotes in FSC or load in carrier sites for prospects
- Respond in a timely, accurate, and friendly manner to all requests
- Meets or exceeds agency, department, and account service goals and deadlines
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and claims as needed
- Coordinate and/or process new business account billings, certificates, auto ID cards, mortgage communication, filings, and binders
- Maintain organized account files, with proper documentation, file construction, and integrity as required by agency standards
- Maintain strong clientele relationships with customers
- Performs any other duties or projects assigned by management.
- Must have an active Ohio Property & Casualty License
- Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook Excel), phone skills, organized, good multitasker
- Willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multi‑task operations/projects and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Be a liaison for the service staff and offer feedback on improvements to the agent and service team
