SUMMARY: Dawson is currently seeking applicants to fill our Audiologist positions located throughout the State of Florida in support of the Medical Readiness Services for the Florida Army National Guard. Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays. All work is on a part-time "as needed" basis.
We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete manual Audiograms for Soldiers showing hearing loss after technician screening
- Complete Comprehensive Audiological Evaluations
- Complete SPRINT testing
- Document findings on Military approved forms
- Safeguard all patient information
- Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Au.D or Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university
- Active Florida Audiologist license, without restrictions
- A valid US driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
- Ability to work for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
- Must submit no less than two professional references with a resume
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering SPRINT tests
- Experience with MAICO Audiometers
- Experience working in a Military setting
