Salary range for this role is - $65,000 to $70,000 depending on experience.

Location is Fort Leavenworth KS

Summary: This work is on-site at Fort Leavenworth, KS supporting facilitate and instruction in Mission Command Digital Master Gunner Course as well as perform operator and depot level maintenance on Mission Command Systems in the classroom and data center.

Job Description

Primary job tasks may include:

• Assist with lesson plan updates
• Assist facilitator/Instructor Support presenting and teaching training objectives
• Assist with Mission Command Digital Master Gunner Course Information / SME Support
• Assist with Mission Command Community of Practice
• Assist with classroom Set Up
• Assist with administrative Support

Qualifications and Experience

• Working knowledge and be proficient in the use of instruction on the capabilities, limitations, configuration, and operation of the Mission Command Workstation (MCWS) with current associated software of Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and Command Post of the Future (CPOF). This knowledge should specifically focus on the role of MCWS in the Army “Operations Process”, the application of the MCWS as the primary display for the common operational picture (COP) within a command post
• Working knowledge and be proficient in the application of the capabilities, limitations, setup, initialization, and operation of at least two of the following mission command systems and technologies: Army Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Army Missile Defense Warning System (AMDWS), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Joint Battle Command – Platform, (JBC-P), SharePoint 2010, Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Global Command and Control System – Army (GCCS-A) and other C2ISs as they emerge as programs of record (PORs).
• Must have computer experience on the individual command and control information systems (C2ISs) to operate and perform user level maintenance of the C2ISs.
• 3 to 7 years of related experience preferred.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Must have completed a military or civilian instructor training program.
