JOB TITLE: Project Manager (Shore Infrastructure)
SUMMARY: DAWSON is looking for the next Project Manager to support our federal customers. This position is in support of the United States Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center and Office of Civil Engineering at Coast Guard Headquarters. The Project Manager will provide Project Management, Strategic Planning, Performance Analysis, and Reporting, Process Improvement and re-engineering, Data Analytics and Policy Support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall planning and coordination of the program strategy and project activities, cost and schedule management, contractor staff direction and supervision, quality assurance, and liaison to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Provide a project plant that includes assigned resources for each task.
- Provide Monthly Report detailing all work completed, potential deviations from the project plan, projected travel requirements, open risks, and any problems that require resolution.
- Provide consulting in the form of strategy, expertise, and thought leadership to the SILC leadership in developing
- Analyze and document current processes and workflows.
- Coordinate and track the execution of project activities across team members and facilitate meeting, phone conferences, and the establishment of working groups as needed .
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer MA/MS degree and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a relevant field.
- Must have BA/BS plus an additional eight (8) years of work experience can be substituted for a MA/MS (total of 18 years' experience)
- Relevant field experience in asset management, financial management, and lifecycle management of infrastructure including planning, acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of real property assets.
- Program execution experience
- Preferred experience with ISO 55000, USCG Mission Support Business Model, USCG Civil Engineering Program policies and procedures, and government budgeting and contracting policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities and accepting new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
- Be committed to work as a team member for the benefit of the customer.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all customers (soldiers and civilian).
- Practice excellent communication, organization, and time management skills; must be reliable, efficient, and flexible.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
