Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to meeting production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any issues or defects.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Document production activities, including production counts, downtime, and quality control measures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and work with maintenance staff to resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects as required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
