Home Care Aide

We are actively seeking committed Home Care Aides who will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by assisting them with the following:

• Assisting with daily living, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Providing companionship, emotional support and engaging in conversations.
• Monitoring health changes, administering medications, and documentation.
• Preparing nutritious meals, ensuring hydration, and following dietary restrictions.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and running errands.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, family, and the care team.
• Promoting independence, maintaining dignity, and showing cultural competence.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year proven caregiving experience, preferably in home care or assisted living.
• Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate diverse care scenarios.
• Empathetic and compassionate attitude.
• Strong observational skills to monitor health changes and report promptly.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals, family, and the care team.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and lifting if required.
• Flexible availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Work Schedule:

At Day to Day Home Care, the caregiver role includes both morning and evening shifts with part-time availability. We value flexibility, occasionally requiring rotating shifts and weekends to ensure comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
